Title: The Bullfrog Standard

Ok so this isn't about 1 game, it is about multiple games by the same developer. Even today the Bullfrog style remains. Did you find that Fable and Black and White had similar features?. Those games are developed by Lionhead Studios, which Peter Molyneux formed after leaving Bullfrog.

Although I have recently got a copy of Dungeon Keeper, I have a had copies of Dungeon Keeper 2 and Populous the Beginning since the early 2000s. The amount of hours I played on these 2 games alone took up most of my younger teenage years. I find these games stand the test of time because I still play them.

Populous: The Beginning was quite different from Command & Conquer. for me it was one of the 1st 3d RTS I had played

DUNGEON KEEPER 2 (http://www.gog.com/game/dungeon_keeper_2)
POPULOUS: THE BEGINNING (http://www.gog.com/game/populous_the_beginning)

Now is for the part for that you need to wake up for; the above links take you to GOG.com website where you can buy the games, however due to a certain IP laws these games are now classed and "Abandon-Ware" meaning that they can be freely distributed without punishment.

You can now grab all 3 of these games from the following: http://1drv.ms/1AwLXW4

Also if like me you wanted to have a Dungeon Keeper 3 but was sadly disappointed because bullfrog had been acquired by EA, hope is at hand. There is a game that is so Dungeon Keeper all it is missing is the name but due to EA having the rights to the Dungeon Keeper name they had to settle for War for the Overworld.

This is the game that we was waiting for 15 years ago. even as a beta it is brilliant. the small feature really make this.

For your enjoyment. the Dungeon Keeper 2 Map Editor - Compatible with GOG version of DKII
it is in the same place as the other files - http://1drv.ms/1AwLXW4

I played the hell out of Dungeon Keeper 1 & 2... good times. Cababs and I may eventually have a VPN up and running for DK2... could be a few days... :)

Oh, and I WILL be playing WarForTheOverworld when it's done.

So, I found I couldn't wait until it was finished... tried the Beta in sandbox mode (there are other modes available in the build[0.6.0] I played) this morning...  :o
IT REALLY IS THE EPIC ADDICTION THAT DUNGEON KEEPER BEGAN SO LONG AGO!  Now I HAVE to play DK2 all day.
I thought... I thought we were past this. I haven't picked up DK2 since 2007... I've been clean for 8 years until now... DAMMIT CABABS!  ;D

Unlimited DK2 Zoom Out!   :o

"OH! I Just Felt My Dick Move!"

Testing Now!

(Found later in thread because former hosting died or whatever)
Download also attached to post.

EDIT: For the GOG version: Extract the 1.7 version's DKII_dx application to your DungeonKeeper2 directory. The standard application file is named DKII_DX (capitalization difference) so it should not be overwritten. Make a shortcut to the new executable, if desired, and launch. (Uncertain if the following is necessary with the executable version-> [Start/load a game and press "O" (Not Zero) to enable.]) Behold the Glory.
Have tissues standing by.

So... very... Happy! *Tear*

Beware: According to the thread above, this crashes if you get too carried away and zoom out WAY too much.
I did not test this yet. *Shrug*

I have updated the OP to include the Map Editor for Dungeon Keeper 2.

Also I'm happy to say (Still smiling like a cherisher cat) that me and Fear had a game of Dungeon Keeper 2. All it took was to kill and burn Tunngle and adding a small touch of Hamachi whist sacrificing Tunngle to the LAN Gods.

We must do this again, just to prove that we both weren't dreaming!

No one needs to feel bad about the sacrificing of Tunngle here; I mean, it isn't like we burned it alive or anything.
Shotgun, Temple, Boom... and Boom again. [Double Tap]

Then came the fire and the chanting... burning Tunngle smells like cardamom.  ???
